Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Koeth was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a chocolate of some kind. He is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured, marred by chocolates. His golden hair is singed and shortened. His eyes are brown and beady.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Barrister business.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Arannis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the south were limited. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
