Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears an entirely tan suit with black socks and a vest with buckled shoes. His hair is always cut to a buzz. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. Varis enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Varis was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. A gifted student he started as a Crown-heir, but he got bored and became a Seamstress. He struck the Seamstress job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and obtaining odd cultural elven artifacts is his passion

Description: He is lean but muscular and wears a red vest and prefers blue and pastel shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. With bright golden hair and a scraggly beard. His eyes are likewise brown. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away; and his religion dominates his actions
