Raer took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up longbow and armor he uses now. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.
