The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Lamlis took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up sword and armor he uses now. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Quarion is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Layabout for the past few years.
