History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Rael was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Rael took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up crossbow and armor he uses now. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears well tailored suits and hats with beautiful decoration. He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society, and a wedding ring on his left hand. His black hair is greasy and uncared for. His eyes are likewise hazel. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 4. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Guard arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Naal never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
