Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. The war was a terrible time for him, and Laucian does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When Laucian reached his early adolescence his Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel.
