History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting illithids, the young Ahvain began to lead the lost caravan. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Thervan was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
