His skin is also unnaturally pale. He wears a top hat to hide his balding. His hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Laucian embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Interpreter but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Laucian and his spouse have recently divorced.

Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
