Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Rael was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Wizard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Wizard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
