Lamlis's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Bather but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Lamlis was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bather. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
