Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Theriatis never married again. History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Mindartis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
