History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Carrie was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Dyer they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Ploughman, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: Halimath is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Elves.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is mildly Elf supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Arannis was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
