History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. Through the years after Naeris was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Naeris's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Naeris and his spouse have recently divorced.

He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. In his youth he was a Stableman, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.
