Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Berrian embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: He is mildly Elf supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Bather for hire.

Motivation: Expand his business; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. Varis enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
