He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

He is bald on top and has large auburn tufts of hair around his ears. His hazel eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. Soveliss was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Mayor. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Scribe. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away.
