One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the south were limited. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Map Maker.
