History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Dilettante hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Arannis never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town.
