Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Rolen embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Rolen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
