History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Fivin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. The war was a terrible time for him, and Laucian does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. A freak accident while working with his Shoemaker father left him crippled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he feels kind of lost in life
