History: The child of a Layabout, who enjoyed hunting, Rael was taken on many hunting expeditions. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Rael alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
