When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Wizard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sickle.

Description: He is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his flail, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a butterfly on it. Sporting a blonde mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His eyes are amber and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Rolen was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Rolen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and to get a good night's sleep
