He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His childhood dream was to be a Priest, but he was a colossal failure. He tends to his Performer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
