Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: Rolen lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and obtaining odd cultural elven artifacts is his passion

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes brigands are coming to abduct people. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against brigands.
