History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Description: He is scrawny and has patchy white stubble. He wears blue robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a rapier, but if one is not available he will default to his mace. He has a hunchback. He sports a long white beard, and similarly colored long hair. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. Aelar is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Aelar was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
