Rael was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Bookbinder. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Bookbinder for hire.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Rael never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. Through the years after Caeldrim was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Caeldrim's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has worked as a Baker like his father before him.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Baker responsibilities is difficult; and he is unsatisfied with his job
