Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Born in the east to a Dyer, Varis learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Dyer responsibilities is difficult; and wishes to resurrect an old love
