History: Born in the east to a Cartwright, Theren learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Cartwright. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Cartwright and occasionally as a mercenary.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
