History: Heian lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Gifted from a young age, Varis studied abroad. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

He wears a wide-brimmed hat to hide his balding. His violet eyes peer out from beneath his wide-brimmed yellow hat.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the east were limited. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
