History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Laucian is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Laucian was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. After a long history of fighting, Laucian and his spouse have recently divorced.
