History: He was born on a small isolated farm. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Varis took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up shortspear and armor he uses now. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his halberd with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep violet.

Personality: Paelias wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Wizard, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Soapmaker arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the south were limited. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

His hair is long and chestnut with streaks of brown, and is pulled back with small green clips. His beard is brown, braided, and well cared for. His gray eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Elves.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He became a Masseuse soon after.
