History: Laucian was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Wizard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Wizard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Laucian has worked very hard to control his curse. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. Tharivol is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.
