Description: This tall, slender man wears a simple white robe with red stripes complete with hood. His brown hair and beard is wavy and long. He has green eyes and a white hat with a red feather.
Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is frequently practicing swordplay.
History: Varis was born with his father's beautiful face. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a white shirt, with a blue mid length shorts with blue tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them, and is pretty ugly. His auburn hair is smooth and relatively long. His hazel eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.
Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out
