History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Through the years after Naeris was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Naeris's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers
