History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has achieved small success as a Herbalist.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Rael was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.
