Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He got into the Shipwright business at a young age. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.
