History: He was raised by priests from a young age. Through the years after Ahvain was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. History: He was born into a rich family. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Theriatis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
