Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: Rolen was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Wizard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Wizard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
