When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Unemployed hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Korfel was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: Korfel was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Korfel and his spouse have recently divorced.
