Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Theren was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Wizard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Wizard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Through the years after Theren was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Theren's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.
