Peren's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Fortune-teller. He's also a talented Locksmith, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Berrian lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
