History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Through the years after Theren was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Theren's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
