Description: This fat southern man has a bulbous nose and wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his quarterstaff with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His brown hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His gray eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: Varis speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. A true patriot, Varis would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. When Varis reached his early adolescence his Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions.
