History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Through the years after Berrian was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Berrian's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many goblins want him driven away; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break.
