Personality: He is fixated on the number 83. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and he wants revenge against illithids

He has dyed his greying brown hair a little too much giving a sharp brown color. His eyes are amber and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother
