When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bellfounder hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Description: A moderately attractive man, he wears dull grey sweaters, loose black pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed axe, just in case. His white hair is cut short. His fierce brown eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. The war was a terrible time for him, and Carrie does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Carrie was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Carrie fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
