History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Peren fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Ahvain was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 10 years.
