Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Varis was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Wizard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Wizard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears a worn and beaten armor. His hair, while still mostly chestnut, has prominent grey streaks. His eyes are hazel and beady.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right leg, he tends to wear a large grey jacket. His hair is long and chestnut with streaks of brown, and is pulled back with small grey clips. His beard is brown, braided, and well cared for. His eyes are violet.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered orcs who tried to eat his hand. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
