His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Vanuath is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Through the years after Vanuath was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Vanuath's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Vanuath and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Uthemar hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the south were limited. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of illithids
