Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He is obsessed with finding treasure.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Peren grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He struck the Ploughman job and began his own company from there.
Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he's looking for his big break

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Herbalist. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. Nutae enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A gifted student he started as a Spice Merchant, but he got bored and became a Herbalist. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
