History: Thervan was born with his mother's beautiful face. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Thervan was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has achieved small success as a Painter.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Halimath was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
